Hi, I'm Dave, and I've been a fully qualified and experienced DVSA Approved Driving Instructor since 2004. I have over thirty five years of driving experience including motorbikes, cars, vans and lorries including towing of trailers. I passed my own driving test aged 17 at the first attempt in February 1990.
I am very approachable and am assured by my past and present students that I put people at their ease. I'm passionate about helping people become confident and safe drivers, and I pride myself on creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment. I tailor my lessons to each individual, and I'm dedicated to helping you pass your driving test and develop the skills you need for a lifetime of safe driving. I am registered with the DVSA to help advance driving skills through the Pass Plus scheme which incorporates motorway driving. As this is one area not covered in the standard driving curriculum many students find motorway driving stressful once they find themselves alone in a car for the first time. I am DBS checked and approved to work with young and vulnerable people, and I carry comprehensive public liability insurance. I am also one of a few instructors qualified and registered to help and support the ageing driver in staying on the road safely for longer.
