Hello, I’m Katrin, a Newcastle-based counsellor offering neurodiversity-affirming therapy for young people aged 16+ and adults.
Thank you for being here. I know that looking for a therapist can feel like a big step. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, friendly space and a pace that feels right for you.
I offer relaxed, collaborative therapy, supporting you to navigate autism, ADHD, anxiety, low mood, feeling stuck, relationships, low confidence, and life changes.
Sessions are confidential and offer a space to speak openly, make sense of what’s been on your mind, and find direction when things aren’t clear.
In therapy, there’s no need to hold back or apologise for how you feel. You’re welcome to bring whatever is present for you, whether that’s thoughts about the future or the past, questions of purpose, identity or life itself. Nothing is too big or too small to talk about.
I won’t tell you what to do or make choices for you. When we work together, I’ll listen carefully and ask gentle, reflective questions to help you express what matters to you. Counselling can help you understand what’s been keeping you stuck and explore what might help things shift.
I work in an integrative and relational way. My approach is informal, creative and relaxed.
I support autistic, ADHD and neurotypical clients, offering a respectful and flexible space that values how you think, feel, and experience the world.
While I draw on different therapies to suit each person I work with, I also pay attention to what’s happening in the here and now. Sessions are warm and responsive, guided by what feels most helpful.
You can choose to have sessions online, by phone, or in person through walk-and-talks in Leazes Park, offering you a calm, accepting space where you can be yourself.
During our sessions, I’ll regularly check in with you to ensure our work feels helpful and supportive, and I always value your feedback.
