I’m an integrative counsellor which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are. While I use a variety of perspectives, my work leans toward:
Person-Centred Therapy– based on the belief that you already have the inner wisdom and resources to facilitate growth and healing,
Psychodynamic -exploring how your past experiences may shape your present,
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – helping you to accept difficult emotions, focus on the present, and take actions aligned with your values,
Transactional Analysis– exploring how interactions (or “transactions”) shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, with a focus on understanding the roles of our inner Parent, Adult, and Child states.
I approach these methods in a way that is intentional, thoughtful, and non-prescriptive.
