Whatever you're going through, I will meet you with compassion, empathy and acceptance. Maybe it’s a constant undercurrent of anxiety, or a low mood that won’t shift. Maybe you’ve been holding yourself together for everyone else, but inside you feel frayed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore.
I’m Ryan McFarlane, a fully qualified, person-centred counsellor in Cornwall specialising in anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. Together, at a pace that feels right, we’ll create space for change with a therapeutic approach that respects your individuality and supports your personal goals. With compassion and curiosity, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, holding a mirror and gently uncovering the patterns, emotions, and beliefs that may be contributing to your tension. Creating the space for change so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.
Working together in a person-centred way, we’ll explore and trust your instincts to make sense of how you feel. That might include things you’ve never said out loud, or experiences and emotions you’re still figuring out. The work often explores the feelings beneath the words, the pauses, the silences, and the things that are hard to name. It isn’t always about finding answers; sometimes it’s about staying with the questions or uncertainty. About making space for the parts of you that haven’t had room to speak or be understood before.
