ID1 Verify helps you prove your identity to HM Land Registry without leaving home. You book a short video call, and an independent SRA-regulated solicitor checks your ID. The solicitor then completes, signs and stamps your ID1 form, along with the ID5 video verification form. Companies can get the ID2 form verified in the same way.

You need an ID1 form when no conveyancer is acting for you. For example, this applies when you transfer or gift a property, discharge a mortgage or register land for the first time. Since 2025, executors need one too.

Appointments run 7 days a week, from 9am to 8pm, and same-day slots are often available. Your signed forms are sent to you the same day. The price is fixed from £79 per person, with no hidden extras. We also verify customers who live overseas.
